- Contact your emergency contacts when you miss check-ins (as per your settings)

SMS Communications
We use SMS in two ways:
Phone Verification
When you register or update your phone number, we send a one-time verification code (OTP) to confirm ownership of the number. By entering your phone number and tapping "Send Verification Code," you consent to receive this SMS from us.
Emergency Alerts to Contacts (Premium)
If you add a contact's phone number and enable SMS alerts, we will send them an SMS if you miss your check-in deadline. You are responsible for ensuring each emergency contact has explicitly agreed to receive SMS messages from imok before you add their phone number. By adding a contact's phone number, you confirm that the contact has given this consent.
Opting Out
Emergency contacts can reply STOP to any SMS to stop receiving messages at any time. To remove your own phone number from the Service, update your profile in the app settings or delete your account.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information in the following situations:
- Emergency Contacts: When you miss a check-in, we notify your designated emergency contacts as configured in your settings
- Service Providers: We work with third-party service providers (Supabase, Google, Dodo Payments) to operate our Service
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests
- Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale, or transfer of company assets
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Payment Information
For premium subscriptions, we use Dodo Payments as our payment processor. When you make a purchase:
- Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Dodo Payments
- We do not store your full credit card number on our servers
- Dodo Payments is PCI-DSS compliant and handles all payment data securely
